What do you do in Winter? What do you see, feel and hear? Where do you go? What do you dream about? Do you think towards the next season, or revel in what is? The subject is Winter. Feel free to be as creative with the intended subject as you want, as long as you stay within the Rules and Instructions here and on the Whistle Stop Gallery website. As always, only submit your own work, not somebody else's.

One Best of Show of at least $50 will be awarded. More awards are possible. The juror for this show will be the Whistle Stop Gallery Proprietor. Artwork will be selected for the Show first, and then the award(s) will be selected from those.

Each artist can submit one to five works. The Whistle Stop Gallery charges no fees to submit your work.
$5 USD per accepted work. Fees will be invoiced by PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay the invoice.
Send one printed image of each work, minimum 4 inches on each side, but as big as you would like. Image sheets should be no larger than Letter/A4. You must provide an e-mail address for us to use to communicate with you. Also send a completed Information and Submission document.

The postmark deadline for all submissions is October 17, 2018. Be sure to keep track of your images – we will need image files if your work(s) is (are) accepted.
The image(s) of your accepted work(s) will be requested by email. Please verify the artwork information in the email before you reply with your images. Images must be JPEG or TIFF format, at least 750 pixels but not larger than 2000 pixels on the longest side. Once we confirm your images can be used for the web Show, you will be sent an invoice. Please look over it carefully before agreeing to pay.
Up to 10 artists may be invited (at no additional cost) to exhibit in a group show at the Whistle Stop Gallery's Granite City location. Shipping and return shipping are the artist’s responsibility. We can provide a return shipping quote upon request. In-person delivery and pickup are available by appointment. Sales terms: 80% artist, 20% gallery.
